TmRecorder 2.21(.0.2): A new browser (again) and some minor bugs solved

After some reasoning about performances in 2.20 version, I decided to revert back to a Microsoft managed browser control, instead of a chromium-based browser control. But there is a great news: the new Microsoft browser is based on Chromium, so the new 2.21 version has the advantages of the Microsoft interface and packaging (the setup now weigths only 3.9Mb instead of 66Mb) and the speed of the Chromium based browser, together with a flawless interface. The downside is that you need to install a separated package to support the Microsoft/Chromium based browser control, the good part is that the separated package, signed by Microsoft, select itself the right package to install as function of your operating system version.

I don’t know if all of this runs on other OS than Windows 10, in case it doesn’t, please contact me on TrophyManager (I’m Atletico Granata: https://trophymanager.com/club/3350340/), or email me at led.lennon@gmail.com.

Moreover, thanks to Dim of Ekrixi FC, I’ve found a bug that has been now removed.

Update (.0.2): Other minor bugs removed;

To install the new release:

  1. Download and install the Edge libraries (you don’t need to install it if you already install this library with a TmRecorder version bigger than 2.21): MicrosoftEdgeWebview2Setup.exe
  2. Install the new release of TmRecorder: TmRecorderSetup.2.21.0.2.exe
  3. Have fun!
